For over 30 years, Meagan Good has been a successful actress, producer, director, author and philanthropist. She’s currently starring in the critically acclaimed Amazon Prime comedy series “Harlem” and will reprise her role as superhero Darla in “Shazam! Fury of the Gods,” the sequel to the hit DC film.
The Dreamer’s Journey
Good’s breakout role was in “Eve’s Bayou,” and her performance earned nominations for an NAACP Image Award and The Hollywood Reporter Award. Good has also produced her own independent films, including executive-producing and starring in 2006’s “Miles From Home,” a gritty, inspirational drama about a young African-American man trying to overcome difficult circumstances.
Good is passionate about inspiring the next generation and giving back through charity work. With her sister, she founded the “For the Greater Good” nonprofit to benefit and educate young women. Plus, she sponsors a child through World Vision and recently designed a bracelet for the organization’s gift catalog.
